A Week of Many Aspects

In my last blog, I said that I was going to tell an unforgettable thing that happened to me last week and here is one. I included this in this blog because my last blog was already long. OK here it goes. Last Friday, I had a dream that I will never ever forget. In this dream, I was riding a van or a bus (I can't remember what vehicle it was.) I was with Tosca in the back seat and we were beside each other. My hand was on her back and we were chatting. I didn't know what was on my mind and I immediately kissed her on her cheeks. She hit me but it was not hard. She asked me why I kissed her and I said nothing. She said that I should not do it again. The dream continued and we were chatting again and I asked her if I may kiss her. She pointed her cheeks and said, "Oh!" I asked her, "Akala ko ba bawal? E, bakit nakaganyan ka?" I was surprised with her answer. She told me, "Kanina kasi hindi ka nagpaalam. Puwede naman e, magpaalam ka lang!" Then I kissed her again. Then we continued chatting and my dream ended. When I woke up, a smile immediately appeared in my face. This is my most unforgettable dream. Sunday this week, I, together with Abby, went to a place called Munting Paraiso because we were both chosen as speakers for the Kid's Session. Our talk went well. After that, I went home and prepared myself to go to school but again, my mother did not allow me to go because she told me that I should help in the preparation of my grandmother's 63rd birthday. The birthday went really well and it was also like a reunion for us. The next day, I went to Maragondon because we were making the props and background for our play. These week, we were receiving bad comments because of the mass cheating that happened in our class. I felt safe because the only ones who's parents are going to be called are those who uses kodigo and I know in myself that I do not use kodigo. Thursday afternoon, Ma'am Arceo told us that we should call all our parents. All of our parents came for the meeting and all of us were suspended except for three people. Our first day of suspension was the birthday of Arrenzo Perea. Saturday, I did not go to the general practice of Saliw because I was grounded and stayed at home. This week, many things happened, positive and negative. Ihope all nthe negative becomes positive and all positive remains.

Sad Valentine's Day, Periodic Tests, and more...*sigh*

Like what I said in my previous blog, I am going to tell what happened in the Valentine's Special Program of YFC Trece. First, I went to the Saliw practice in school. I was laughing at my co-Saliw members including ate Lorena and ate Jamare because they were "bitter". They greet us with Happy Chinese New Year instead of Happy Valentine's Day because they do not have a Valentine or a date. Tosca texted me that morning and I asked if she was going to attend the program. She said that she will try and ask permission to her parents if she can go. I told her that I am looking forward to seeing her. I expected that she would go. That morning, we went on with the practice and Ma'am Mae got angry to us. I was afraid that she will not allow me to go to the program but I really have to go because I was one of the organizers of the program. I asked permission to our adviser and she said "Bahala nga kayo!" I was afraid to go but I still leave because I really need to. I arrived in Trece just in time for the preparations. We had an opening worship, then we had an activity. After that, Ate Witty and Kuya Ervin shared about their experiences. While they were sharing, I asked Tosca if she will still go. I was sad because she told me she won't go anymore and I was really disappointed. I was expecting her and since then, my mood changed. After the sharing of Ate Witty and Kuya Ervin, we went away to buy food for ourselves. I told my cousin and Abby about what I was feeling. They told us that it was OK and that I should just not mind it but I can't. That whole day, my mood was not good. Tuesday and Wednesday, we had our Periodic Tests. I admit, I copied many answers in many subjects. Wednesday, we had the Meeting de Avance and it went well. The next day, we had the election. The next days, we checked the RAT of students from Dasmarinas. Saturday, I went to practice in school and Ma'am Mae got angry at us because when she was asking us what we want, we didn't talk so she sent us home. We went out first. Then we came back to talk to the officers and there was drama in the place. We all decided to come back after lunch and wait for the text message of our adviser. I, Lance, and Jap went to the Polar Building because my classmates are there for our props. After some time, Ma'am allowed us to practice the Opening Performance. After practice, we went home and rested. Many unforgettable things happened this week. I'm going to say another on my next blog because this is already long so wait for my next entry.

Quite Ordinary . . .

Sunday, as usual, we had practice in school for our Saliw Dance Concert. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go to practice because my parents did not allow me again to join the practice. They said I had to go with them in accompanying my sister to her dorm in Manila so I went with them. We went to SM Mall of Asia to mall. There, we ate and I looked for the book that we need for our book report. The book was entitled "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time". Unfortunately, I was not able to find it. After that, we went to the convent to visit my aunt who is a nun. Then we accompanied my sister to her dorm. We were supposed to go to the World Trade Center but we were not able to go because it was already getting late and there were many people there so we decided not to go. The next days were ordinary. We continued practicing for the play. Saturday, I stayed at home then went to mass when it was already 5:30 in the evening. There I saw Abby Molina, the cluster head of Trece. After the mass, we planned the Valentine's Special Program of YFC Trece. We decided to do it in the Bahay Kubo of my aunt in Gold Crest Village in Trece. We visited it that night and we were happy because my aunt allowed us to do the event there and it was really fitted for the event. If you want to know what happened in the Valentine's Special Program of YFC Trece, then wait for my next blog.

A Problem Aroused

Sunday, January 31, was the blessing of our Lying-In clinic. My mother instructed me not to go to the practice of Saliw in school, instead, help in the preparation for the blessing. Of course, I cannot go to school or go somewhere else without my parent's permission so I just stayed and helped in. I transferred many things from our house to the clinic. I did it alone because I was the only male who was around. My brother was in our cousin's house and he was not yet going home because maybe he was still sleeping by that time because it was only about 6:00 to 6:30 in the morning that time. My father was in church that time. He was serving as a Lay Minister then he goes to different barangays to lead the mass. This means, I have to do everything that has to be done. The most difficult thing I did was to carry four whole watermelons and bring it to the clinic. I picked up the watermelons to its dealer. I think the distance from the watermelon dealer from our clinic was about on kilometer so I carried all four watermelons going to our clinic with no one helping me. I was really tired that day but it was OK because I understand why I was doing that. This week, a problem aroused. The problem was about our play. Our lead actress, Mizpah, accepted an offer to join the Jazz Chant and the class agreed to change the actress for the role of Giselle, the lead character. It was decided that Ariane will act as Giselle. Then, we discovered that Mizpah was rejected from the Jazz Chanters because of her movement. Now, because Ariane already accepted the role, we just continued to make the play with Ariane as Giselle. Mizpah's father went to school and they said that Mizpah cried because of that replacement so Ma'am Mae had to talk to us because she is concerned to this matter because we are talking of the play which was a requirement for her subject. We made sure that we fixed the problem with ourselves so we said sorry to Mizpah for the wrong things we have done. I really hope the play is going to go well.
